Rolom Temple (ប្រាសាទរលំ) issituationabout 2 kilometers northwest of Prasat Thom complex. It is one of the lesser-known shrines within the ancient capital of Chok Gargyar (ឆោកគគ្យរ៌) or known as Koh Ker complex presently, a significant archaeological site in northern Cambodia (Preah Vihear Province) that briefly served as the capital of the Khmer Empire in the 10th century, during the reign of Jayavarman IV.

Looking beyond the piles of rubble, the temple is the only one of three remaining towers. Near the temple are lion sculptures, with only their paws remaining, and a Buddha statue, which was likely destroyed when looters took it from the main gate.  On the outer of the tower is a sandstone pedestal, known as the Toul Ballang Linga (ទួលបល្ល័ង្គលិង្គ) for the Linga of Shiva God. But it has been vandalized by antiquities looters during the 1960s, when Khmer antiquities were very popular on the world market.

This 10th century temple built of laterite and brick during the reign of King Jayavarman IV in Koh Ker style, dedicated to Shiva. The temple is extremely similar to the nearby site of Prasat Dan, consisting of a tower with a lower section in laterite and an upper section in brick, built on a laterite platform and opening to the east. In this case, however, the tower remains largely intact, with vestiges of an eastern porch, enclosing wall, laterite terrace, and sandstone eastern gopura. There are no sculptures left in place, however there are several sandstone shards scattered around.
