Pror Jul Moan or Cockfighting Game “ល្បែងប្រជល់មាន់” is a game played by all ages of Cambodian during the night time. It is a game that provides as much laughter and excitement as Hit the Coon “បវរកញ្ញាធ្លាក់ទឹក”. This cockfighting game has four players divided into two teams. Each team must have two players who play the role of a male chicken and a female chicken and the other two who play the role of the owner of the chicken. To begin the game, the male and female chickens have to bow down in opposite direction (one faces to the north and other faces to the south). While, the owners who feed the water will stand next to their respective chicken.

Before the two chickens fight, the owner of the chicken must clap his hands and shout “Yearng Ban Khnea Hauy.” After shouting, the chicken character must flap his wings and walk around like a cock showing off to each other and another partner. The bragging is over, the owner of the rooster starts singing, “The rooster is fighting, the rooster is fighting, the rooster is fighting, our rooster is winning” (មាន់នាងនីវ៉ឺយៗ ជល់ និងមាន់នាងនល់ លោកឲ្យប្រជល់វ៉ឺយៗ មាន់យើងឈ្នះគេ).

When the song is over, the two roosters must jump into the center circle, making different gestures like roosters, according to the command of the rooster owner. When the rooster has the most energetic and strong gestures that receive the most enthusiastic cheers from the audience, it is considered the winner. When the rooster character is victorious, the owner will give him palm juice or porridge, which is considered to be a gift.
