Aob Neang Temple or Kraham Temple (ប្រាសាទឱបនាង) is one of the lesser-known shrines within the ancient capital of Chok Gargyar (ឆោកគគ្យរ៌) or known as Koh Ker complex presently, a significant archaeological site in northern Cambodia (Preah Vihear Province) that briefly served as the capital of the Khmer Empire in the 10th century, during the reign of Jayavarman IV.
Lying in Koh Ker’s southern section or located around 400 meter south of the Rahal Baray at Koh Ker, this small temple was made of brick and the main tower is 7 meters high, originally surrounded by a fence. Although, currently the main tower and fence are only partially intact. The brick tower opens to the east with only the single doorway and is framed by sandstone decorative colonettes with unfinished lintel on top.
Located in Koh Ker village, Srayarng commune of Kulen district which about 67 kilometers from downtown Preah Vihear, the temple is stunningly beautiful and visitors can enjoy the beautiful and attractive landscape because this temple is located in the forest. The shade of the forest gives cool air and a nice environment for all visitors.
