Prasat Pram and Trapeang Prasat Pram (ប្រាសាទប្រាំ និងត្រពាំងប្រាសាទប្រាំ)

Located in Koh Ker village, Sraryorng commune of Kulen District of Preah Vihear, the five-shrine temple’ owes it locate name to the villagers who have include all five buildings on the site. It is one of dozens of temples in the former capital of Chok Gargyar (Koh Ker Region) built during the reign of King Jayavarman IV in the 10th century C.E.

The temple is about 4,500 meters from ticket both and 6,000 meters from Prasat Thom complex. The temple is one of many attractive temples of visit, as well Prasat Thom complex (Prasat Prang), due to two towers are surrounded by tree roots and natural landscape.

This temple was built in Jayavarman IV reign, 10th century C.E., dedicated to Hindu religious. The temples were built of bricks and laterite stones, consist of five towers – a row of three main brick tower-shrines on a terrace and two towers are function as libraries (ហោត្រៃ) that face to the three main towers were at west. One library was built by bricks at south and another built by laterite stones at north. The five towers enclosed by laterite wall measuring 48 by 44 meters, with entrance at the eastside. This temple built in the form of a Trimurti temple (dedicated to the three deities in Hinduism: Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma).

What is the most interesting is that this temple was ruined by nature and two of its towers are covered by big trees and their leaves. Therefore, these two towers beautifully look as a small jungle forest temple similar to the Ta​ Prohm temple in the Angkor region.

Apart from the temple, visitors can visit view of ancient ponds landscape and surrounding which located at the northeast, about 100 meters long from Prasat Pram. There are two ponds, the larger pond is 155 meter long by 90 meters wide, whereas the smaller pond is 75 meters by 55 meters wide. Visiting around the two ponds, visitors will get felling excited with bird sounds, wildflower, and natural landscape around the ponds.
